I have an NI cDAQ 9191 with an NI 9208 card and a PC plugged into a router via ethernet. I can connect to it via webpage and access the web configuration tool by typing in its IP address, which I found by looking at the routers connected devices. When I try to add it to NI MAX (My System->Devices and Interface ->Network Devices->Find Network NI-DAQmx Devices), NI MAX is not detecting any devices.
The router is just local (no connection to the internet), with only the PC and the cDAQ plugged in.
I have tried:
- Turning it all on and off (several times at this point)
- Inputting its network location manually in NI MAX
- Plugging it directly into the PC via ethernet
- Resetting the cDAQ using the hardware button on it
- Upgrading to the latest supported software (for Windows 7, V20.0.0)
Does anyone know how to fix this issue and allow me to configure the cDAQ to NI-MAX?
