We are currently using the cDAQ-9174 chassis populated with C class voltage input and output module (NI 9205 and NI 9264 respectively). The testing group is developing tests using the matlab interface but we hope to migrate the production application using the python API cDAQmx v20.0.0.
I am trying to create a simulated environment using NI Measurement and Automation Explorer application but C Series modules are not available from the drop-down selection.
The installer allows the selection if X, M, S and B series DAQ.
It is not clear to me whether the configuration we are using can be simulated and whether the simulated instrument is available using python of limited to LabVIew or VS C++.
What would be the best approach to create my desired simulated?
