Hi,

There is no direct of doing it within hardware, so you would have to set it up so that it would continually read the value of the resistance, and then adjust the voltage being output based on the resistance to ensure the current output stays at 1mA.

With a few components (resistor, transistor and ...) it is possible to make a current source that can be switched on and of with a digital output.

But it depends on what you exactly want, precision, voltages, etc.

Can you tell a bit more about the application ?
