can cRIO be used with labview with cDAQ

Hi, I have run out of space on my cDAQ chassis and only have cRIO chassis available from our other office (havent tried to make it work yet). Is there a way to use the cRIO chassis basically as another cDAQ chassis??

Also, I am running Labview 8.6, would there be any issues using cRIO chassis with this version?

The cRIO works as a RealTime OS with an FPGA to access the IO modules.  It is completely different than the cDAQ chassis.  I recommend just buying another cDAQ chassis or go with a PXI solution (where you can typically get a much higher channel count).
