Hi, I'm trying to output about 5 mA using the PCI-6229, is this possible? LabVIEW doesn't seem to think so..."No supported devices found"
Link to PCI-6229 specs... https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/pci-pxi-usb-6229-specs/page/specs.html
I suppose I could try to out applying 5 V with a 1000 ohm resistor, to get 5 mA, but that seems hack-ish?

Hi
PCI-6229, is not a current output module. You can go for PCI-6704 which has 16 current and 16 voltage output channels. If you still want to use 6229 then you will have to use a resistor across as you said. You can also try with Digital lines.
