counter task for pulse output

Hi all,

I have a sensor giving me pulse as output so i need counter task.I am new in labview and can you give me some examples and explain me spesifications of counter task?What are the things that need to be considered such as acquisition mode, 1D Pulse Time or 1D Pulse Frequency etc.

Stop posting duplicate threads. As noted at http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/how-to-convert-square-waves-to-a-physical-data/m-p/3149985 you can't use a counter.

Is there any other option for pulse output?It cannot be analog input on DAQ.And the topic is different now

Why can't it be snaking input? Your failure with that would indicate a bigger problem.
