current range analog output 6020

I want to obtain a constant current of 50mA to drive a resistive load, of atleast 20Kilohm resistance. The source must be truly constant current. Can i use the DAQ 6020 E (BNC) device to provide this current? What is the maximum current this DAQ device can source? I do have a kepco constant current power supply which can provide up to 80mA but i would still like to use the DAQ to isolate the Kepco power supply from the resistive load to protect from noise/ spike/ overvoltages- how do i connect the kepco supply to the DAQ?

The specs can be found here. The device is not a constant current source and the max it can output is 5ma. You can't connect the kepco to the DAQ board.

Do you realize that the source will need to have a compliance voltage of 1000 volts to source 50ma through a 20Kohm load? (.050A * 20,000 ohms) = 1000V.

What model number is the Kepco supply?

is there any device such as an isolation amplifier etc or anything that you recommend that can electrically isolate the Kepco 500 M constant current power supply from the experimental set up consting of the resistor? I want to protect the kepco supply from dangerous overvoltages produced by experimental device.
