digital output not changing

I am trying to write to digital port 0, channel 4 of a AT-MIO-16DE-10 board. At startup the value is +5VDC. When I change the direction mask to -1 (or 1 for ch4) the value is 0VDC regardless of the line mask and state. I can't get it to change from 0 to +5VDC when the direction is set to write.

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

I suggest looking at the digital write example VI. It can be found by:

1 - Click Help >> Find Examples.
2 - Click Directory Structure under Browse.
3 - Double click the DAQmx folder >> Digital >> Generate Values.llb >> Write Dig Channel.vi

Also, have you tried writing to other channels? It could be that one channel is malfunctioning.
