Hello wise ones!
I was hoping somebody could help me with a problem I am having detecting TTL edges on my NI-2090a that is connected to a NI-6025e. Even if I go into Measurement and Automation Explorer and run the Counter I/O test nothing is detected. I tried different counters and different ports (BNC PFI0 and other non-BNC PFI's) connected to different trigger sources but still no succes. Interestingly I also have a simple USB 6008 on which I can get these settings to work.
I used a few test VIs that I found here but none worked (which I guess is to be expected).
Is there something that I am not seeing here? Any help is welcome and if you want more information please let me know!

Hello j.win,
Which version are you using (PCI,PXI,...) ?
Can you share a MAX Report (File >> Create MAX Report), so that I can check the installed software versions?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply!
I attached a MAX report to this post. Also in response to your question I use a PCI system.
Thanks again!

Hello j.win,
Normally you should be able to use the counter with this combination of drivers and hardware.
Some extra things I was wondering about:
- Have you done a self-test (without anything connected to the DAQ-card)?
- Have you done a self-calibration (without anything connected)?
- Can you still measure analog input or produce analog outputs?
Is it the first time you try this set-up or did it used to work before?
Can you show me schematic of the wiring?

Hey!
So the strange thing is that I put the card in a different computer and then the problem was fixed 🙂
Should be exactly the same drivers so I dont see how anything could have changed.
Still for me it doesnt matter anymore so I'll change it to fixed 😉
Thanks for the help!
