Hi maetesmueller,

In your post you stated that the device worked properly before, what does that mean? Did it work properly before any changes you have made or does the error appear suddenly without any change in your system?
As you already checked the board in different slots on different machines I assume that the board is defective.
If not already done so, try running the E Series online diagnostic utility located here http://ni.com/support/selftest, this utility is able to diagnosis many hardware issues.

Hi Bernd,
thanks for your replying so soon. We did not change the system. It was just switched off for some days. The error appeared suddenly. I already did the online selftest, but this test canceled right after the start because of error.
So I think, we will have to deal with sending it in for reparation!?

Hi Martin,

yes, I guess sending in the board for inspection/repair is the next logical step.
If you decide to do so, please directly contact our Munich based office to get further instructions on how to proceed.

Hi Bernd,
thanks for your help, again! How long will it take to send in the card and getting it back? And how much will it cost? Unfortantely, we do not have much time left. In the beginning of July the whole system will change its location.

Hi Martin,

All repair-work is done in our plant in hungary, the regular duration for a repair is about 3-6 weeks.
