I am using a NI USB-6251 acquisition card
On Windows 10 I installed the DVDs below:
ni-daqmx_25.0.0_offline.iso
ni-system-configuration_25.0.0_offline.iso
Then I ran the example using Qt: Acq-IntClk.c which produces the error code -229771
The NI IO Trace tool indicates that it is the DAQmxCreateAIVoltageChan function that causes the error as if no card was detected, but the device manager shows that a Data Acquisition Devices has appeared and is named USB-6251 (BNC).
The hardware configuration utility does not find the NI USB-6251 card and MAX does not start!
I want to say that I have already developed graphical applications under Qt with the NI USB-6251 card on a laptop under Windows 7 and I had never had a problem of this type...
I have read the NI forums carefully and tried to reset the MAX utility, but the problem is that it does not start. Others have indicated that repairs must be done using the NI Package Manager. I have done some repairs which have improved things a bit. However, there are still some problems:
The NI Citadel 4 service does not start and the executable "lkcitdl.exe" is not found
The NI Device Loader service does not start (error 1075)
The NI Variable Engine service does not start (error 1075)
Despite the multiple repairs these errors persist.
I think it's the Device Loader service that's causing the problem but I can't seem to fix it so it can start.
Does anyone have a suggestion!
