frequency measurements uisng USB 6009

I am using LabVIEW 8.0 and USB 6009. I need help to do frequency measurements (1Hz-1MHz) This USB does not support frequency measurements as 6210, I can't use DAQ assistant.

Yup, the 6009 doesn't support frequency measurement. You could approximate the frequency using the following KB article:

Is there any ways to improve the frequncy measurement bit more by using USB6009 (by changing the program which is mentioned by you). I need some more accuracy. My range is 1kHz to 400kHz,
