I just found that I bought the wrong device, HP iPAQ 214, to be able to use the "mobile module" with the "NI-6009". These links reveals the fact:

Too bad I did not found them before the purchase, since the iPAQ has "windows mobile 6 classic" installed. I guess that a downgrade to WM5 is out of the question (??). Could someone please advice me in selecting another device that actually work. I guess the only important consideration would be the "USB host controller" + "WM5", but I'm not sure anymore since there always seems to be some little piece of information missing...(sigh). So I hope that someone who actually runs it could tell me what device is working.
I know that HP does not sell any PDA with WM5 anymore so maybe I have to find a "used device" on ebay or something, but I would of course prefer a new device of any brand.
I don't know if PDA is a fading market for Labview, maybe caused by the turbulence of the "intel atom" (or similar) and the UMPC, MID and tablet PC on an "unpredictable" market. But they are all too big and too heavy for the system I'm building. The iPAQ (250 gram) is already close to the limit. Maybe the "eking s515" could work but there seems to be much more talk than actual selling of this device. Does anyone have any experience with eking and labview together?

Some advice, please. I'm sure there must be ppl actually using the "mobile module" of Labview on something, ... or?
Last time I bought a device I started with this info: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/7D65D66EB07111F186256EBD005A5499?OpenDocument
To find a device with WM6 seemed to be the only important requirement when using LV2009... But I found that a "USB host controller" also was a requirement and through "rumors" on the Internet that IPAQ 214 had it. HP themselves did NOT advertise this.
Now searching for "USB host controller" + "windows mobile 5" on the Internet seems to be a dead end, only trash threads.
But while writing this post I found this 5 years old link on NI: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&requireLogin=False&thread.id=133262
So a HP iPAQ 4150 might work ?? Only thing... it's about 7 years old..
Hmm... I think I give up on this project... and I think NI should update the requirement page with some info on the hardware problem.
