We have several aging ovens with six aging boards each that we use to age capacitors. To sample current of the capacitors as they are aging we currently use six NI 6031e multifunction DAQs, one for each aging board. These aging boards interface to the DAQs through a backplane board and a 100 pin ribbon cable that connects to the 100 pin connector on the 6031e. We are in the process of upgrading these systems and want to switch to the NI PXIe 6225 multifunction DAQ as the 6031e is no longer supported by NI. The problem we have with this configuration is NI's switch fron the 100 pin connector on the 6031e to 2-68 pin connectors on the 6225. NI does not have an interface solution for this and we are having a hard time trying to find a manufacturer that will assemble a cable solution for us. We have thought about using an interface board between the 2 68 pin cables and the 100 pin cable, but would prefer a cable solution so that there would be fewer connections in the line. We have also looked for another DAQ manufacturer that would have a similar multifunction DAQ, with a 100 pin connector, that we could replace the 6031e with; so far no luck. I have to believe (hope) that someone else out there has run into this same issue. Thank you.

Hello kskaro2,
Thanks for posting at NI forums! I believe this cable should fit your requirement, basically it's a converter from a 100-Pin E Series device to a 68-Pin device.
