is daq card 6024e compatible with dasylab?

I am having trouble trying to get dasylab to recognise the daq 6024e card. I have downloaded nidaq 8.3.1 and it recognises the daqcard fine. Is this right? What driver to I have to download so that I can use the input in dasylab (8.00.04)? Sorry if this is an obvious question, I do not have much experience with the DAQ cards. Thanks

Dear South,

Thanks for your request. Accordind with the forum "Does DASYLab support the USB DAQ devices", Dasylab works with the driver NI-DAQmx 7.5 and 8. For the version 8.00.04, you should also install the driver "NI-DAQ MX for DASYLab 8.00.04"
So, you must begin to uninstall the version 8.3.1 and install a previous version.

Thankyou for the help. I have done exactly this. installed a version of NIDaqmx 7.5 and the driver. Now there is a Nidaq drop down menu in dasy lab. However when I try to select an analog input, an error message comes up:

Driver: Task AD00, Version 0.08
Reason: No NI-DAQmx tasks available

Any ideas??

Dear South,

Your welcome, I think you should first create a task in MAX and then use it in DasyLab. To learn more about NI-DAQmx and MAX, you can show this link:
