ivi drivers for DAQs

I searched the Discussions Board and found an old post regarding IVI Drivers for DAQs.  One in 2005 said it might be possible in 5-6 years.  Does anyone know if anything has been done yet?  Mainly interested in National Products.

There is no IVI class for DAQ devices and I doubt the IVI Foundation will ever create one. You should contact them or read the minutes of past meetings to see if it's even being discussed. I'm sure that if a class is ever created, NI would support it just like they have IVI drivers for the pc instruments (scope, function gen, etc.).

Thanks Dennis..I also had a question on IVI for a general pupose relay that I posted.  Thats under the IVI Discussions Grp. if you know anything about that..
