my parallel port scxi-1000 does not work in win2000

it works on one computer, but when i plug it to another computer i get (in max):
"device not responding to the selected base address.
would you like to continue anyway?"

the parallel port is in EPP mode, it prints, but this doesn't work...

setup:
Labview 6.0
NI-Daq 6.9.3
Max 2.2
SCXI-1000 (w/scxi-1200)

anyone have any ideas?

Aaditya,

What operating system are you using? Windows XP does not support the SCXI-1200. Also, if you are using Windows 2000, the parallel port is defaulted to not use interrupts. In order for the SCXI-1200 to work through the parallel port, interrupts must be enabled. Below is a doucument that contains more information:
