Did you mean:

need max sampling of individual channel

HELLO every one

Thanks very much  Vanessa  for your help

I want to measure 80 differential inputs simultaneously and minimum sampling rate for each individual input must be atleast 48K samples/second.
Kindly suggest what and how many DAQ's I should use? and if i have to use more than one DAQ (which i think i have to) will there be any clocking problems?

Hello ASIM_BHATTI,

Given the specs provided for your system I believe the best option would be to use M-series devices, specifically the 625x family.

The 6254 for example has 32 analog input channels, giving you 16 differential pairs per board. The 6254 has a 1MS/s rate (aggregate) for multi-channel sampling. This means that 1MS/s will be divided evenly over the number of channels being used. So in our case we will get the following maximum sample rate per differential channel:

1MS/s / 16 = 62,500 S/s

This is an extra 14500 S/s in relation to your system requirements.

With that in mind, we have 16 differential channels per bored, which means we need 5 of these devices to achieve 80 differential channels.

We have 80 AI channel boards as well (i.e. the 6255), however the aggregate sample rate is only 750KS/s so the extra channels will reduce your sample rate below your system minimum.

Hope this helps!
