Hello Kregg,

This is not expected for the PCI-6154. At this point it would be a good idea to contact National Instruments technical support and look into sending your device in for calibration or repair.

Just an update if anyone else follows this posting.

 

RMA'd for a new card. Received that card and it has the same output glitch performance. Discussed matter with NI and concluded this is normal behavior for this card as the spec sheet quotes a glitch energy of 100mV for 2.6us. Attached are my data of glitch magnitude versus sampling rate on internal loopback.

 

For what it's worth, I tested a 6229 which has the same glitch specification as the 6154 and it's glitch noise remains at or below 1mV throughout it's sampling range.

 

Returning the card does not seem to be the solution.
