If all you need to put in the desktop is the PCIe-6259, I would just purchase the cheapest dell desktop that would physically fit the device and contains atleast 1 x1 or greater PCI express slot. You can find the physical requirements in the specifications document here. Take a look at page 11. It states the PCIe-6259 circuit board is 9.9 x 16.8 cm. Unfortunately, we don't have a recommended desktop. As long as the desktop complies with the PCIe standard, it should work.

Paul has some good points!
One question I would be asking myself at this point since you want to use this set-up for calibration. Is calibration REALY something you want to do on the cheap or, is reliability more important here?
