Hello to all!
I explain my problem:
- I have a PC with NI card (PCI 6225) (it's name on MAX is Dev1)
- The O.S. is Windows XP SP2
- I downloaded the latest DAQmx driver from the NI website (I think is DAQmx 9.7)
When I try to test the panels of the card through the MAX I get the next error message:
the driver failed to communicate with Dev1 through self test (Error -50101)
I attach an image for more details.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Hello Output,
DAQmx 9.7 is supported on Windows XP SP3 or greater, please see the readme for this driver. I would suggest upgrading to this Service Pack of your Windows operating system first. I would check to see if I could reset or self test the device and see if you get a different error than the one you are getting. Try shutting down your computer reseating the PCI card in another PCI slot or ensuring it is seated appropriately if you only have one slot. Then try utilizing your card again with a test panel or a self test to see if it throws an error.
