Hi, I have some SCXI 1122 modules and SCXI 1322 terminal blocks that I would like to use to collect measurements from load cells that I am making with full bridge configurations. I'm very new with the whole data acquisition setup, and would like to know first if this is even possible. As I understand it the 1322 is a 16 channel terminal block, but in order to excite the load cells from the terminal I would use up all of the VEX+/- terminals, is this correct (therefore I would only be able to place 4 load cells on the 1322). Assuming that I have the correct chassis, and the proper setup using LabVIEW is there anything else that I need in order for this setup to work properly? Is there any documentation that shows me exactly how to attach the full bridge circuit to the terminal (I saw information in the SCXI 1322 manual regarding quarter and half bridge, but no diagrams for full bridge configurations). Thanks, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi aknaack,
You could either use the remote sensing or non-remote sensing configurations. (page 4 in the 1322 manual), but you can connect all 16 gauges at once if necessary. The set up for full bridge is quite similar to the quarter and half bridge. Take a look at this knowlegebase article describing strain gauges.
