synchronize DAQ board

I have SCXI-1600 & a PXI-6289. 1600 is in SCXI-1001 chassis & 6289 is in a combo chassis.
6289 is in parallel mode acquiring signals from all 16 channels. I need to acquire another signal with
1600 but needs to be synchronized.

How can I syncronize the two DAQ cards?

6289 acquires  AC voltages & 1600 acquires the signal of current waveform converted to voltage with a shunt
resistor. I am doing this because, I need to measure the phase lag between current & voltages.

Hi,

It isn't possible to synchronise the USB port with the PXI bus in hardware. You could time them in software, which may not be sufficiently accurate for you (the following link contains timing information:

Alternatively you could time them using the trigger line on the SCXI 1600:
