I would like to synchronize the acquisition between a PCI 6110S and a PCI 6250M.
The first question is :do I need a RTSI cable in order to connect two devices?
Is it possible to use a single analog trigger (sent to PFI channel of the PCI6110) to start the acquisition on each cards?
I need this information before buying the RTSI cable.
Thank you very much and sorry for my poor english (I'm italian...).

Using RTSI is always the recommended solution, however if you just need to start an acquisition with the same trigger (so not to synchronize it with the same sample clock) you can use an external connection through PFI pins.

Christian, thank you very much for your answer. I decide to use RTSI cable.
Have a nice day!

I have a problem. I would like to synchronize the acquisition between two device PCI6110 S series and PCI6250 M-series. I try to use an example provided by NI, but it doesn't work. The master device acquires signal, the slave doesn't work. I use also an analog trigger signal in order to start the acquisition. I attach my VI.
Please, help me. Thanks in advance!
