update to NI-DAQmx 8.9, yet keep LabVIEW 7.0 Support from mx 8.1?

Will LabVIEW 7.0 continue to work w/ NI-DAQmx even after installing version 8.9f4 (or newer) over the existing 8.1?

Would that update be "unsupported"?

(Seems that 8.1 was the last release to include the LV7.0 development Support feature.  I wouldn't want that to be removed during my updating.)

citizenDAK,

As the KnowledgeBase Article you found indicates if you update you will lose support for 7.0.  If you were to update to LabVIEW 7.1 or later (-8.0) you would have support.
