usb 6008 - analog output failure

I am having a problem with the analog output of my USB 6008. The output voltage is not between 0 and 5 volts as it should be,  but only between 0 and 2.0V. The output voltage is perfectly linear with the voltage I set in MAX.

Everything else works correctly, including +5V power supply pin and 2.5V reference pin. I have no idea what caused this failure (I checked usb 6009 on several PCs) since I have not been using AO for quite some time.

Due to the observed linearity I wonder if there's an amplifier after the DAC (amplification for 2.5x) that could have failed?

Hey Bojan,

This really seems like a failed component on the USB 6008. Have you already have tried to output voltages with MAX using Test Panels and Creating Task as well? Does it end up with same result? In addition if You are using it in LabVIEW don't forget to set the output terminal configuration to RSE! Did You try running the Self Test? Is it passing? If every answer for my questions are yes, I would kindly ask You to write a mail through ni.com/ask that describes the situation so application engineers from Your country can get in contact with You and can manage the repair of Your board.

Please let me know if You need anything else!
