usb 6009 - Driver problems

I using a USB 6009 with LV 7.0 and MAX 4.0.0.3010 and it work right on my dek PC With W XP SP2. I made a VI in LV and aquire ok.
Then I made an appication and made a executable and install it in a laptop under Vista and the vi works right but do not aquire any value.
I go to max and when I hit the test panels shows an error called 50256.
I understand that there are a mistake with the firmware NI-DAQmx and NI-daqmx base.
Could you explain me about this problem and how can I solve it?

Thank you

What version of DAQmx did you install?

For Vista you need at least v8.5, see here:

With his new NI Daq 8.5 and vista the daq works ok!

I have a new question about this usb 6009 daq card.

Is possible use a pseudo "autoranging input"  in its phisical channels. I will explain about this:

I am measuring a voltage signal that varies from +/- 20 mV to  +/-  20 V. If I configure the input voltage at +/-  20 V, when the input is about 20mV , the resolution is too poor. Is there any  in daq tool that choose the best input range according to the signal amplitude?

Thanks

Ariel
