I’m having reliability
issues whit the USB-6501 unit. I have 2 units connected to the same PC consensually
writing and reading. Using the appended application the DAQ sometimes ”resets”
the USB-6501 and the only way to get Windows to recognize the DAQ again is to
unplug the device, Sometimes i even have to reboot the PC to be able to use the
DAQ again. I have tested this on 4 different computers (of different brands) I
have investigated if there is an issue whit the USB port on the computers i
have tested on. And the issue will not go away.
I’m stumped on why
this is happening, and since we are planning to use these USB-DAQs for process
monitoring having reliability issues is a”aaahem” unacceptable.
