usb to pcmcia adapter

Hello, Has anyone experimented with using a USB to PCMCIA adapter? That is, we have some NIDAQ PCMCIA cards (6036, 6715) with dead laptops. Laptops with PCMCIA slots are rare now. I see there are USB to PCMCIA adapters on the market but they mostly seem to be advertised for Wi-Fi use. Does anyone have experience using them with NI cards?

Hi Peg,

Although some PCMCIA to USB adapters may work, we have not tested these and do not officially support them. If a USB solution is necessary, I would suggest going to ni.com/dataacquisition and searching through the faceted navigation to find the USB device which would work for you.
