using atom based "netbook" with LV

I have LabView 7.0 (full version) and the Application Builder.  I am currently running a test stand with a 700 mghz Compaq desktop and the USB-6008 daq which is sampling once per second.  It is working well.

 

I would like to build four more test stands, and I am tempted to use the little "netbook" laptops that have the Intel "atom" processor.  They are available with Windows XP, which is also my current test stand OS.

 

Has anyone had successes or failures with the "netbook" computers?  These would be running only the data logger with the Labview runtime modules (no development work).

I cross posted this over in the LabView section, which is probably a better place for it.  Of course, I welcome any comments here, especially if there are issues with the netbooks and USB DAQs.
