vi for TTL out in DAQ 6008 for LabView7.1

Hello!

I am looking for a LabView7.1 version of Write_Dig_Chan-Set_Output_Drive_Type.vi

I want this because I need to modify a vi for my monochromator such that the 6008 sends a 5V TTL to another data acquisition board for triggering when the wavelength changes.

If I can have the two halves, hopefully I can modify the vi's on my own to make this work very soon.

(Yes, I am very new to LabView).

Hi Laser,

I believe the VI you are referencing is a custom VI, therefore I cannot give it to you in LabVIEW 7.1. If you would like to post this VI and what LabVIEW version it is currently written in, than I can try to convert it for you.

Also, from the VI name, it seems that the functionality is just setting the digital output of the 6008. This can be done through the DAQ Assistant, or the example program Write Dig Chan.vi or Write Dig Port.vi  (Help >> Find Examples >> Hardware Input and Output >> DAQmx >> Digital Generation)
