i am writing a program to control hardware through my DIO-6533 and visual c... i have print outs of some example code in labview, but have run into a few problems. what is the equivalent of "DIO Port Config.vi" using the ni-daq c commands... the problem is that in the vi you are allowed to configure a port width (in this case is set at 16), but if i use "DIG_Prt_Config" from the NI-DAQ library, it only seems to allow me to have an 8 bit port.... im afraid i must be missing something here. any help would be appreciated.
