Have you installed NI-DAQ for the version of LV you are using?

If you can run a test panel in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) (I'm assuming this is what you mean when you say "run the tester"), you have NI-DAQ installed. You will need to install support for LabVIEW when installing NI-DAQ (that is what will install the AI.llb). Reinstall NI-DAQ and include support for LabVIEW when you reinstall. This should fix the problem. I hope this helps.

thanks, that did it, at least in part, I can now get the single and dual channel scope demos running...

I tried a few others downloaded from NI site and they are asking for yet more .vi's I do not have. I guess my main issue here is that we have bought a lot of new but prior owned cards that have software/drivers from year 2000....

anyway I'm off and running now
