Hi all,
W
In our group we are discussing how to best avoid ground loops in our AO signals. We would like to use a PCIe-6363 X series device and I would be interested to learn exactly how the grounds are wired on the device. I found an old reference about the wiring of the grounds in M Series, E Series and S Seriesdevices:
https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P6lOSAS&l=en-US
Is the wiring for the X series devices the same? How are the grounds connected to the PC-ground, directly or via a resistor? What about the shielding of the cable?
Best regards,
Dixie

Unfortunately I can't help, but I imagine that you'd be more likely to get a response if you contacted NI directly. I've had some luck with the "Ask an engineer" link on the bottom right of the service page. Best of luck!

Hello Dixie,
I have just noticed that this forum post doesn't seem to have received a reply.
Can you let me know if this question is still active?
Thanks in advance!
