Config File Issues

Hello,
I currently use MultiSim version 10.1.1.  I use it in my classroom in a
high
school.

The issue I'm having is that the config file seems to change and I can't
change
it back.  Some stations now have blue icons on the top where the drop down
menus are suppose to be.  When you click on a blue icon nothing is there to

pick (component).  I try to change the config file back but it won't let
me.

Please help.  I'm not sure if my students are doing this.

Have a look at this knowledge base, I think it will fix this problem:

In 10.1.1, select Options>>Lock Toolbar turning this option on may prevent this problem from happening in the future.

Ok.....did that.  I still cannot place a component.  The component menu is grayed out under the place tab.  Also when I go to the toolbar and click on a component, the menu that comes up is empty.
