If I put the corporate database on the network (the most logical place), and I am not connected to the network (very common with my notebook or if the network goes down for any reason), then Multisim and Ultiboard can't find the database.. of course. However, they both then force me to choose a database path that they can find, if I don't (cancel the prompt) both apps hang on startup.
Since going on and off the network is very normal this behaviour is a bug. When I'm not connected to the database/network, the database should simply be unavailble. I shouldn't have to change my path to some "dummy" database every time I go on/off the network (force my to start each app twice).
