Creating Op Amp Model

I have been examining this and it does appear that there is something not quite right about it. It could be the model file, even though it is from Maxim, it may not be 100% compatible with Multisim. Not all Spice Models will work with Multisim and it is a real crap shoot finding one that will. When I tested it it seemed to be fine, but on further review it seems quirky.

I would maybe suggest trying to find one in the Master Database that is comparable to the 9910. It may not be exact but it might get you to where you need to be.

This is why I wanted to modify a virtual amp to give the same characteristics of the 9910.  I have been able to take another model (Max495) inside spice and alter the capacitance to give the same pole.  But I cannot adjust the virtual model to mathc the 9910, which you should be able to do.

I am glad you found something that will work for you. I agree that the virtual op amps need to be a lot betteer than they are. I just wished the Maxim model had worked better than it did. That would have been sweet.

Good luck on your project.
