Does multisim support RF simulation?

Can multisim be used to simulate radio communication circuits (i.e. FM transmiter and receiver, oscillators, amplifiers, etc.)?Does multisim provide spice models of high frequency or RF components (passives and actives)?Which is the highest frequency that multisim simulation keeps acceptably accurate?  I ask those questions because I have read several articles related SPICE limitations at RF, which motivate the development of softwares like SpectreRF from Cadence and some other tools from Agilent. To my understanding, RF requires special simulation algoritms but they were devopmented many years ago, therefore I hope those are already applied in today’s circuit simulators like multisim. Regards,Roosvelt

Yes you can! Multisim has some components that allow you to create SPICE simulation with RF characteristics, it also includes a network analyzer and some other instruments to help you view the results of that simulation. We have an online training related to this topic, as well as the documentation on the help in the software itself. You can also get the samples that come with the software and check the experiments on the online training. This is good news to me. I read chapter 14 of Multisim user manual, that answered all my questions.

Multisim provides the majority of resources needed in mixed signal design, which become it into a professional tool (not only academic).

I just have a last question. Does Evaluation version of Multisim include the component full library of professional version?
