Did you mean:

ERROR 1304

I purchased the multisim design suite, student version in 2007, and it worked fine. I haven't used it for a year because I didn't need it for my classes until now, but I can get the program to run. I get : "error 1304 error writing to file c:\Program files\National instruments\circuit design suite 10.0\database\mscomp_S.PRD. verify that you have access to that directory."  I searched the forum but the similar problems and solutions listed do not address my problem.  I am signed on as administrator and my firewall and anti-virus software has been turned off. I tried to remove and re-install the program but it won't load and I get this message.  Have any solutions other than those listed in the forum been found for this problem?

Hi there,

What version of Multisim and Windows are you using? Some older versions of Multisim are incompatible with Windows Vista.

I'm using XP.  It worked fine a year ago. Same computer, same system. I just haven't used it in a while.

It's the design suite 10.0 with multisim and ultiboard.

I don't know what the problem is. Maybe someone from technical support can help you. The only thing I can suggest is to check for and install all available updates.
