Ground plane from multisim to ultiboard

Hey guys

so i have this simulation im running in multisim

I did the trasnfer to ultiboard.

In the net list editior for ultiboard and in the gnd net list only one pin of one part got added to the net list.

All the other grounds are off in other nets and not actually in the gnd net

I thought by adding ground symbols to the circuit schematic in multisiim it would automatically assign it to the GND net list. Therefore when i added the ground plane they would be all connected.

Can someone tell me what i did wrong? Obviously it did not trasnfer over to ultioabrd correctly.

So if i go back in multisim how can i create a ground plane in multisim so ultiboard recognizes it?

For example in the multisim picture i posted i just have ground symbols

ultiboard recognized that those two things should be part of the same trace but not the "gnd" ground netlist

Hello,

I think that you are not doing nothing wrong, the GND & Sources aren't exported into Ultiboard. Please take a read this document http://www.ni.com/white-paper/10710/en/ specifically Step 5. Hope this helps, have a wonderful day.

Hi RScott,

Be carefull with putting your ground symbols so close to the component pins.

You should see a short red wire.

In some rare occasions, the way you put them, there's no connection...
