Multisim won't install on a MAC OS.  The only way is to install  a PC emulator on your MAC and then install Multisim in the PC emulator.  VMware is one company who makes PC emulator software but there are other, have a look at this page for more information:

Hi,

I know my question is not related to the subject of this topic but I was wondering if you could help me.

I'm trying to import a spice model into NI multisim but it's not seeing the circuit properly.

I'm trying to import the INA126 using the method found in youtube videos. It worked fine for other components (INA333) but for some reason it's not working for the INA126.

So the INA126 is an instrumentation amplifier composed of two operational amplifiers and when I import the model it only recognises one op amp and not the whole model as a single component.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

The spice model is readily available ate Ti web site and the method I'm using is also easily found in youtube database (just in case you want to have a look at how I'm trying to import the model).

Best Regards,

Felipe

Hi Felipe,

Please start a new post because the person who stated this post will likely get email from this thread and they may not appreciate this.  In the new post, attached your database so that I can see what you did and also a sample circuit, I will try to help.  To find out where Multisim stores the User database, select Options>>Global Preferences>>Paths

We are having issues with Multisim 14 running on a MAC with VMWare Fusion. The Probe instrument shows the correct value of the current, but always with a negative sign in front. Other instruments are measuring the current correctly, but the Probe  shows a negative current. We tried the circuit on a PC and everything is correct, the sign of the current is normal on the Probe instrument (PC).

Is there a setting that was modified on Multisim that shows the current as negative?

A valid workaround for valid users is using Multisim Live.

You can take a look in the next link, you can access the full version with the same Multisim 14.1 License.
