Solved!

Hi,

I'm cleanin gup my library and wondering how I can re-create a pristine corp lib.  There doesn't seem to be a way except to re-install a freshh copy of MS somewhere and copy it out of that install.

Hi Dbur,

You can move your corporate database to a different location and then run the National Instrument Repair utility, when a file is missing the utility will add that file back.  To run the repair, go to the Windows Add/Remove Program, locate "National Instruments Software" and click on "Uninstall/Change", highlight the "Circuit Design Suite" and click the "Repair" button.

If want, you can use the attached Corporate database, I keep a clean one on my computer.

Thanks.  What I did is do an eval install on another computer and took the corp lib from that.  Your method would be easier so I'll remember that for next time.  I'll also try and remember to keep a copy of a pristine corp lib form each new MS install I do.  I had one from ver 7/8, but could not get it to convert to a pristine V11 corp lib without having one already.

My 15MB corp lib did reduce to 9MB after importing it into the new pristine corp lib.

Thanks.
