ruler bar missing in ultiboard

Hello all,

I'm following a ultiboard tutorial that requires the use of the ruler bar. However, on my student version of Ultiboard there is no ruler bar in the view menu. I can't find it anywhere. Can you help me?

Hi Fishbender,

The ruler bar is not in the Student Edition.  I scanned through the Getting Started manual that was installed with Ultiboard and I didn't see a section referring to the ruler bar so I am not what the tutorial is asking you to do.  There are other methods to that doesn't require a ruler bar, for example, you can press the asterisk(*) on the number pad not shift+8, and you will get a pop up dialog where you can enter an coordinate, when you click OK, you mouse pointer to jump to that location.  Using the coordinates, you can create object at precise location.  Also, if you double click on an object, there is an x-y coordinate for that object, you can use this to control where that object is located.
