Hello,
I want to make a cross switch in Multisim witch i can use for schematic and for simulation. I used the spdt switch in the database and edit it. Houever the spice parameters are the problem, i cant make it work.....
This is what i want; (picture 1)
Ant this are the spice parameters:
.SUBCKT CrossSwitch 1 2 3 4 Params: Ron=1e-8 Roff=1e30
V2 5 0 DC 0
R1 5 6 20
V1 6 0 DC 0
W0 1 4 V1 2 3 V1 NC_contact
W1 1 3 V1 2 4 V1 NO_contact
.MODEL NO_contact csw (IT=0.05 IH=0.025 RON={Ron} ROFF={Roff})
.MODEL NC_contact csw (IT=0.05 IH=0.025 RON={Roff} ROFF={Ron})
.ENDS
The problem is in the number of contacts in the spice file. Any idea how to solve this?

Hi LeoSnoeren,
The following tutorial seems to talk you through exactly what you want to do:
Creating a custom component in NI Multisim: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YH5fCAG&l=en-US
Have you seen this before? It talks you through each stage, look specifically at the mapping of the symbol pins to the model nodes (step 7) this should give the answer you are looking for.
I hope this helps.

good day leo,
Did you succeed. i would like to ask if i can get a copy of the solved component.
i am a teacher and we are talking about cross switches...but i could not find one in multisim 14.
i would like to ad it for future reference.
Thanks in advance,

Привет! Можно взять 2 выключателя, назначить им разные буквы для подвижного контакта, или оставить синхронное управление от одной буквы...
