How do I save a board outline as part so that it can be placed on new designs?

I made the mistake of using one of Ultiboards PC104 predefined board outlines. The problem is the board outline screw holes are the size of screw head not the thread. Is there a way that I can make board outlines that I can "Place" in a similair fashion to the "Pre-Defined Board Outlines" supplied with Ultiboard?

Hi there,

You can make your own board outlines that you can save to your database. You need to:

  1. Draw your board template with all the outline, connectors and mechanical holes, etc
  2. Select what you have drawn
  3. Click Tools>>Database>>Add Selection to Database
  4. Add your board template to your User or Corporate database as you usually would. You can make subcategories and organise your database by components, board outlines, etc.

 Hope that answers your question.
