How do you keep inner layers in Ultiboard when forward annotating from Multisim?

OK, important rule!  From Multisim, you must go under EDIT -> PROPERTIES -> PCB to define the number of layers that Ultiboard is expecting.  This resolved my main issue.  The preferences for routing layers is still messed up but that is insignificant to losing the routing layers completely 🙂
