How do you silently install the network license to Circuit Design Suite

After a silent install of Circuit Design Suite you still have to manually tell it the network license details. Is there a silent install for this too?

Hi Mah:

I presume by the network license, you have the Volume License Manager.

You create a network installer using the Volume License Manager. Select Options > Create Network Installer... The wizard will guide you to create a network installer. After you are finished with the wizard, the wizard will have created an installer at the destination path. You can use the same options for a silent network install as a normal install.

This had already been tried without success.

When attempting again, the message 'This CD does not appear to need modification for use with NI VLM. If you continue, NI VLM will copy the contents of the CD without modification.'

Also mslsetup.exe is not created.

The license is installed and is usable by manually installed clients.

There are a couple of reasons you might see this error:

1. Make sure when you are creating the network installer, you are pointing to the root of the CD, containing setup.exe.
2. There was an issue with the first release of the network installer that would cause this error. The issue was resolved with a maintenance release.

You can download the latest version of the Volume License Manager from here

Upgraded VLM to 2.0.0.77. Still same problem.
Installed VLM 2.1 and still exactly the same problem.

Have also copied entire DVD to network drive.

Eventually have solbed this problem.

All the instructions are for the CD version. If you have the DVD version treat the directory 'Circuit Design Suite' as the root of the installation.

Hi.

Is there way to activate the Circuit Design Suite silently? Installing works great, but its really pain to activate them manually....

Regards
