How to convert PSipe ORCAD to Multisim(LM386)l,

Hi all,

i would like to ask how to convert the LM386 PSipe into Multisim?

As my Multisim from my college doesnt have this component.

Plz help to teach me how to convert it... Would be more preferable if there is a manual.

Thank You

NatashaB,

But for the function in the step1, what should i put for that?

As i only know it is low noise power amplifier.

I only have the LM386.lib, LM386.olb in my ORCARD. then how to concert it?

And in the step3 i saw need to include the preamp.sym. The .sym file i need to get from where?

The functional description is simply for you own reference -- it does not affect simulation in any way.

As for the model, open the .lib file in Orcad, and copy the contents into the Model Data area in Step 5 of the wizard.

As for the symbol, you can either leave it as a block diagram (the default), or you can draw your own amplifier symbol/copy one currently in the Multisim database.  Select Edit to draw a new one, and Copy from DB to browse Multisim's symbols (you will probably want to navigate to the Analog group, OPAMP family).
