I am new to Multisim and was trying to do a simple unity inverting op amp simulation. Tried the virtual op amps with published circuits, and tried a real op amp. I am unable to obtain expected values. File attached, thanks for your suggestions. Just can't figure what the issue is...

This seems to have been a wiring issue, having to do with junctions. It seems Multisim will connect a wire which in actuality is not connected causing these issues I had written about. I managed to redraw the wires making it work. I almost started to think all valid junctions and connections, except components have a red dot, which would provide a visual indication of a valid connection, being a good thing.
Unfortunately this is not the case as my simulation which is attached as a jpg has all nodes except one connection and no junction dot, yet the simulation returns expected results. It would seem to me this is marginal user-interface design and all valid junctions should have the dot.

Мы интуитивно дёргаем провода в жизни, чтобы проверить надёжность контакта,-также и в программе можно подёргать...///

Thank you, I think you were indicating the node problem, got it to work.

"и все допустимые соединения должны иметь точку."
Бывает, что и без точки схема работает. Это можно проверить в просмотрщике спайс нет лист, или, опять же подёргать за компонент
