This is a typical noob question I am afraid..
From the datasheet of the LM324 I found (page 13) a circuit design for an oscillator. http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm324-n.pdf
I have been trying to reproduce this oscillator in MultiSim, but it does not work as it is supposed; even measure voltages much higher than the source voltage ??
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hi,
The LM324 have three different models, I selected the one made by National Semi and this circuit is now generating a pulse. Double click on the LM324 then select the Replace button, in the "Model manuf" area, you should see more than one models.

TYhnak you, it works great now.
The model manuf button shows only ITT/LM324A_2
Maybe this is also due to my ancient version 10?
Thnaks you very very much!

Now I have a new problem with this LM324...
When I put more packages in a circuit, I cannot have U1A, U1B etc.
When I place the B component, I get a popup telling me that components are renamed.
I get strange pin layout and have to connect Vcc and GNd for every part.

Thnak you.
it works great with this component.
I cannot save it to the database though.
it seems that I have two versions somehow conflicting.
Do I have to do something special to prevent trouble from using your Lm324 version.
is it automatically storesd in the databse obne I opened this file?

Since you already have this component in the Master database, you can edit it and add this model. You can extract a model in a circuit by selecting Transfer>>Export Netlist, open the .cir file with Notepad and you will see the model. I've done it for you and the model is attached.
Have a look at this knowledge base to add a model to an exist component:
